    Is that a current picture? Though I am yet to spot a single sign of the long-awaited spring here in Indy, your picture would suggest it’s not too far away!

      Yes, Jana, it’s true — spring is arriving early here in Virginia! We took that photo Saturday on a walk along the path. We are 99% certain that it is a swamp maple, Acer rubrum. So beautiful! Hoping spring comes soon to your neck of the woods, too!
